A simple journey that began with one child β and became a movement to change the world. Love for math was our first attempt to make the change.

It began with one child
In a quiet community called Palm Meadows, Whitefield, V-MAT began with a single student β Ananya Ganesh, daughter of Ganesh Lakshminarayanan, Managing Director of Dell. Within 30 days, V-MAT was the most talked-about program in Whitefield.
Chapter two
A thousand strong
Word spread fast. By 2008, over 1,000 students had enrolled and V-MAT was growing rapidly across Karnataka β the start of something far bigger than a classroom.

Chapter three
The word reaches the top
V-MAT became the choice of some of the most well-educated families in the world β IIT alumni, leaders from IBM and Cisco, and renowned scientists sought it out for their own children.

Chapter four
Schools embrace V-MAT
Reputed schools across the country embraced the program. Indus International became the first IB school to adopt V-MAT, and hundreds of CBSE, ICSE and IB schools followed. Our studentsβ performance made V-MAT unquestionably the best of its kind.
Chapter five
V-MAT Academy is born
V-MAT Academy was inaugurated by the legendary singer P. Susheela, with Padma Shri Lakshmikutty Amma and educators from across the country. The same year, Pallavi Menon β five years with V-MAT β became a celebrated South Indian national topper.

Chapter six
V-MAT goes global
During the COVID-19 pandemic, V-MAT launched online. In just one year, purely by word of mouth, it reached 15+ countries β including the USA, Canada, the Netherlands and Singapore.

The record era
As we measured our studentsβ true skill, history was made. Between 2023 and 2026, 10+ V-MAT students set new world records in mathematics, and 20+ entered the India and Asia Book of Records.
